DayZ 1.30 and Badlands
Update 1.30 arrived on 15 October 2026 together with the DayZ Badlands expansion and motorbikes. The groundwork came three months earlier in 1.29 Road to Badlands, which added the SCR-17 and Nasdara convoy events. Read the official 1.30 patch notes for the full list.
Community servers update on their own schedule, so a server you play on may still be running an older version for a while after release.
After a DayZ update
A major update often changes the game client, which can put the Whyper product into maintenance while it is updated. Check the status page before playing after an update. The DayZ product page lists current features, plans and requirements, and our BattlEye guide explains how global bans and server restrictions differ.
