A wipe resets character progression in Escape from Tarkov: levels, stash, traders and quests start again. Battlestate Games usually pairs a wipe with a major patch. This page lists every main PvP wipe we could verify from Battlestate's official channels since 2022, with the number of days since the previous one.
Sources checked on 17 October 2026. Arena partial resets and separate seasonal characters are not counted as wipes here.

How long between Tarkov wipes?
Across the seven intervals above, wipes came between 128 and 237 days apart, about 176 days on average. Winter wipes have landed in late December three times (2022, 2023 and 2024).
As of 17 October 2026, 336 days had passed since the 1.0 wipe, longer than any interval in this list. Battlestate Games had not announced a date for the next wipe. Treat the history above as context, not a prediction, and watch Battlestate's official channel for the announcement.
What about Kord Breach and Arena?
The Kord Breach launch on 3 August 2026 created a separate seasonal character. We found no official source saying it reset permanent PvP progression, so it is not counted as a wipe. Arena has its own partial resets, which are also outside this list.
After a wipe or major patch
A wipe usually arrives with a large client update. If you use Whyper for Tarkov, check the status page before your first raid after an update; the product may be in maintenance while it is updated. The Tarkov product page has current plans and requirements, and the Tarkov account-risk guide explains what a status label can and cannot tell you.
